Celebration of Preservation 2021 — Online Gathering

To mark the Trust’s Sixtieth Anniversary, we have asked five Trust supporters to reflect on preservation in New Haven over the last six decades.

Join us on September 29, at 6:30 pm, to hear about

  • what drove the Trust’s first decades, by Marianne Mazan

  • why preservation can embrace urban renewal, by Susan Godshall

  • when the city’s industrial heritage appeared in print, by Preston Maynard

  • how the Trust came to champion Modernism, by Christopher Wigren

  • what inclusion on the National Register of Historic Places can mean in New Haven, by Jenny Scofield

The silent auction, with proceeds to support technology at the Trust, continues until 8 pm on the evening.

Please help us celebrate the past and future of the Trust!

This event was originally planned as an in-person gathering, but due to COVID concerns it has been changed to an online event.
