  • In front of Trinity Episcopal Church, Temple Street and Chapel Street New Haven, CT (map)

The spread of concrete as a building material reshaped architecture in the 20th century and thus influenced profoundly the development of both modern and traditional design. Join tour guide Christopher Wigren, Deputy Director of the Connecticut Trust for Historic Preservation and author of Connecticut Architecture: Stories of 100 Places, for this special tour.

Join thousands of participants in cities across the US throughout the month of October for Docomomo Tour Day, an annual celebration of modern architecture and design.

An architectural historian and Deputy Director of the Connecticut Trust for Historic Preservation, Christopher Wigren has written articles and essays for the Hartford Courant, the New Haven Register, and Connecticut Explored magazine.

Free and open to the public.
Registration is requested by Wednesday, October 16.
