Join developer David Kuperberg and architectural historian Christopher Wigren for a pre-renovation tour of one of downtown New Haven’s grandest Neo-classical Revival commercial buildings. Clad in white marble and reflecting “the tide of the Beaux Arts movement and prosperity,” the former Connecticut Savings Bank building was completed in 1906 to designs by architects Gordon, Tracy, and Swartout of New York.
