This members-only tour, led by Jordan Sorensen of Preservation Connecticut, will allow us to see close-up one of the houses constructed by members of the Pardee family in this area.
The Colonial-style house at 341 Townsend Avenue was probably built by Jacob Pardee around 1780, in the wake of the destruction of the 1779 raid on New Haven.
The tour is an opportunity to visit one of the oldest remaining structures in New Haven and to discover its surprising gardens.
For the sake of all tour members, masks are to be worn indoors.
The Trust thanks Susan Frew for making this tour possible.
Tour is open to NHPT MEMBERS ONLY.
Registration is requested by Thursday, June 3; and is on a first-come, first-served basis.
