Aaron Helfand, AIA

Originally from Northampton, Massachusetts, Aaron has lived in New Haven since 2016. He is an architect with Knight Architecture, where much of his work focuses on the preservation and restoration of historic buildings. Aaron graduated from Williams College and holds master’s degrees from the University of Notre Dame School of Architecture and the University of Cambridge. He is the author of Deerfield Academy: The Campus Guide and has published a number of articles on the architectural history of New England. He lives in East Rock with his wife and two children.
